The CW’s new supernatural drama, Supernatural, is a fast-paced and exciting show that takes viewers on a journey through the world of demons and angels.
Supernatural is a television series that was released on October 13, 2005. The show has been running for 10 seasons and stars Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester and Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester.
Supernatural is a virtual reality game for the Oculus Rift that was launched recently. It is intended to allow users to explore a number of various worlds by using supernatural abilities. The game also has an intriguing storyline that will keep players engaged from start to finish.
Supernatural is a great game to play, but it comes at a high price. The game’s stunning graphics and playability will entice you to play again and again. More information may be found here: supernatural workout.
There’s no better time than now to find a reason to get up and move, which is why famous AR/VR firm Within launched Supernatural, a VR workout program for at-home usage (2020). The gameified workout program will have your heart racing to the beat of a selection of popular artists’ songs, all while a digital personal trainer encourages you via your headphones. Is the $19 monthly membership price, however, justified? The basic answer is no, but it may be a good fit for you.
The film will be released on April 23rd, 2020.
Price: $19 per month for a membership, with a free 30-day trial available.

At first, I didn’t understand why Within decided to make Supernatural available exclusively on Quest, but it became apparent throughout the setup process, which measured my height and taught me the basic motions, that wire-free was the only way to proceed with Supernatural’s frenetic workouts.
You’re tasked with crushing directional-based objects, which in Supernatural are black and white spheres with a clear cone to show which side of the orb you need to smash through, much as in Beat Saber (2018).
To begin, you must also fit through approaching brilliant white triangles, which will cause you to lunge left or right or assume a regular squat position. Some spheres include little tails that lead you to spin your whole body to a new position, enabling you to spin around the room in a leisurely 360-degree circle on a central axis. That last part, along with lunging and striking at the same time, would be very uncomfortable with a wire in the way, thus the Quest-only approach makes a lot of sense.
Since my gym has been closed for months and I’ve completely neglected my workout routine as a result, Supernatural proved to be a great all-around heart-pumping exercise to get me moving again, offering about the same level of action as a step class. Despite the fact that my Fitbit Charge HR2 couldn’t connect to the smartphone app (many fitness trackers can), recording it separately showed that, given my weight, height, and age, I was always in the ‘Fat Burning’ stage, with only small dips into the ‘Cardio’ stage.
There are just a few workouts right now (more are being added everyday), but they’re all based on the orb-smashing, triangle-squatting concept. They do, however, vary in length, difficulty, and coach. Workouts range in length from 12 to 26 minutes and include a variety of well-known songs—almost too many to list. To conclude, you won’t find a mishmash of popular EDM titles outside of Beat Saber’s DLC song packs, but rather well-known songs from a range of musical genres.
There are a few workouts with an automatic difficulty adjuster based on your skill level, which at times left me confused by the number of orbs to smash and triangles to fit inside. I would have like to choose the level of difficulty manually for these auto-difficulty workouts, but the studio has been steadfast in delivering a new workout every day since launch, resulting in a wide range of options for users of all skill levels.
To obtain a decent score, it’s also not entirely about the accuracy points. A power score is assigned to you, which is combined with your accuracy score to produce a composite power/accuracy score. This not only keeps track of your growing muscle memory for a track, but it also prohibits you from using the controller to take shortcuts via wrist-waggling, since you require great, smooth, and powerful follow-through to gain the most power points.

To be honest, I was expecting for a lot more variety straight immediately, like muscle specialization, stretching exercises, and a variety of other types of games to chew on. That, I think, may be the determining element in whether or not Supernatural is able to keep its subscribers for the long haul. The game itself is a lot of fun, and it fits perfectly into my Beat Saber skill set—in fact, given its remarkable similarity to the genre-defying predecessor, you might call it the number one Beat Saber competitor.

However, I’ve been cruising along on the free 30-day trial, and although I’ve really liked it so far, I’m not sure whether this is the right time to commit to making Supernatural a regular part of my exercise routine. For $19 a month, which is slightly less than the cost of a monthly membership at the YMCA, I expect a buffet of different fitness programs to keep me coming back for more.
Given that the bulk of mankind is presently holed up in their homes, I can see people joining up for Supernatural for a few months and forking out the monthly Andrew Jackson as a means to keep working out—and having a lot more fun doing it than spending 30 minutes on the elliptical. Personally, I’m undecided about this. You may find the price-to-value ratio enticing enough to keep you going back week after week, but I can’t when I’m already playing Beat Saber, Knockout League, and Space Pirate Trainer to keep my butt cheeks from filling with blood.
I had great hopes for Supernatural since Within, the game’s developer, is one of the best in the business when it comes to quality. Amazing 360-degree views are mixed with near-photorealistic produced foregrounds to create the sensation of working out in a rice field at dusk, on the Icelandic tundra, or in the Scottish Highlands.
Everything about Supernatural seems like it belongs in a science fiction film, as if it were a fitness routine for astronauts stuck on a deep space transport journey to Omicron Persei 8. That, in and of itself, is a wonderful little oddity that can only be discovered in virtual reality.
In terms of immersion, hitting black and white orbs while floating over an ocean seems a bit abstract. Individual coaches, on the other hand, are one of the most engaging parts of the workout, as they help ground the activity with a pre-session discussion and then continue with disembodied suggestions, encouragement, and pretty much everything a personal trainer would do.
I say “most everything” since the coach’s lively discussion doesn’t cover all you’d expect from a live instructor who can actively correct your technique and provide truly customized suggestions about your behavior. I had a tennis elbow injury as a result of overextending my arm in karate, so I know not to do it now or the excruciating agony will recur. I’m not sure whether the virtual coach is promoting ‘poor form,’ which is the bane of all fitness instructors, with their implicit silence.
You’ll want to make sure the Quest is tight on your head and not bouncing about since fitness is the name of the game and you’ll be performing a lot of fast and powerful arm and leg movements. If it isn’t tight, you may feel a bit dizzy after having the virtual environment move independently from your eyes at such frequent and frenetic intervals.
Supernatural is a very enjoyable experience overall, despite the Quest’s less-than-ideal ergonomics and the discomfort associated with sweat on the facial interface.
If you dress the part, wear a washable VR cover, and move the couch and cat away from you, you’ll be sweating to the oldies, whether you’re a beginner or seasoned VR user.
